Does anyone know if this program is accredited or not?
We can assume that this program will replace the AEGD program (which was accredited) so it will be accredited also, right?

Is the certificate in this program will be the same as AEGD certificate ?

Please, share your info

AEGD at Umich was number one - so if they are replacing it - they will definitely do it with something better

They have 8 seats- interviews for this year are over. Any accepted students here?

this is not a CODA accredited program sorry folks! I got this email from them a long time ago and emailed them asking and they said it is not.

Hi All,

I wanted to post a thread about UMich's Computerized Dentistry Program and I came across this thread so I'm writing here.
As of now, this program is still NOT accredited by the CODA. I was reading the program's FAQ section.

First, I wanted to make sure that this program is not tuition-based (common sense says it shouldn't be since it is not accredited but I wanted to make sure and confirm this just in case).

Second, in the answer to the question regarding "whether the completion of this program will increase the chances of getting into an IDP program later on", it says that it WILL increase the chances of the applicant, but I want to know do they mean the chances of getting into THEIR own IDP program or other IDPs across US as well (and if the answer involves other IDPs as well, how can it be possible since it is still NOT accredited by the CODA?).

Lastly, I wonder are they going to give a proper certificate of completion upon finishing the program or not, since there is no mention of the certificate in the FAQ section.

Thanks in advance,

Igor
