about pre required Bio course

I am a non traditional predent I have a PhD in chemistry. But I never took any biology course before. I want to register one intro Bio course with lab during this summer session. The point is, it is only 4 credit. Do I need to pick up another one as A&P? Many thanks

Usually schools require 8 units so you would need a second bio class.

Schools offer Bio1 and Bio2, which together are 8 credits. Most schools require biochem as a prerequisite, so you will need to take biochem.

I think it is not because biochem is normally required as one prerequisite course.

They are 2 separate requirements , I'm not sure if you can overlap the two
