hi,
my GPA is average and I wanted to apply and have the best chance I possibly can. Does anyone know which schools have lower stats?
Thanks so much

Here is what you do. Go to the ADEA website (adea.org) and order their guide to dental schools. This is the dental school bible. It has everything you will need. Dont just look for low stats but also how many instate and out of state students they take. Also look closely at their requirements b/c they differ from school to school. For example, I applied to UW but didnt have micro so I waisted 60 bucks. If you have an average GPA and a great DAT you can get in just about any school. I had average stats but many blemishes on my record and the schools I picked out where Tufts, BU, Kentucky, Louisville, Marquette, Case, VCU, Temple, Pitt, USC, Creighton, UOP. These are all great programs. Another two programs that accept out of state students and have average stats are Buffalo and NYU. The key is to apply to atleast 10 schools and apply early.
