Yes and no.
The blah blah blah EXCEPT thing is something that the ABP does, a lot, and I do recall seeing this format in some of the sample items.
As for the degree of difficulty of the sample items, I thought the actual test was harder. Exhaustion, stress, and time pressure were significant (more so on the second day - CP test). IDK.
Don't be surprised if the computer crashes during your AP virtual microscopy exam.
