Dr. Teirstein seems like an interesting guy and I hope he gets far with the NBPAS. The ABIM is about as much of a sham as any other board nowadays... They don't offer pathology certification but maybe in the future if they can get past the lobbyists & special interests...

The "Spread the Word" tab on their site shows a video of a 'debate' he had with the ABIM--have to agree with him.

Everyone should get behind this. I would have absolutely no qualms about abandoning the ABP.
