abt ece and gpa

hi all
i have this query which i hope somebody will help me with.
i look at most of the stats and i see gpa of 3.9 and close.isnt gpa calculated on a scale of 4?if so, how is it possible to get such a highscore?
somebody told me wes scores are better than ece's.but most of the schools accept only ece is nt it??
i would be glad if somebody enlightened me

yes there is a difference in gpa provided by ece and wes as my ece is 3.09 and wes is 3.74. Hope that helps.

Some colleges accept wes too. Some ppl say that there gpa don't show much difference, but I think there is always a diff.

If your ECE Gpa is good enough no need to go for WES.
Some like USC prefer WES.

i am really confused i want to apply for part 1 .i dont know where to apply for evaluations ece/wes.it is necessary to go 4 both.ADA accept which one.

I have gone through ECE and my GPA is 3.84 and mostly all colleges accept ece and USC says it wants WES but they accept ECE

All regular applicants should go for ECE. ADA wants ECE.
cooldentist is right about USC.
