I am currently waiting for my AMCAS to return. However, until then, I have one grade that changed significantly (It was originally a default-F T-T)

So is it okay if I get an official transcript with the updates and hold it (sealed inside the transcript envelope) and then when I can request a grade change, just place it and the transcript into another envelope and mail it? Transcripts at my school take a few days to get done around this time, and I'm hoping not to get slogged...

I'm pretty sure they're going to want a transcript directly from the registrar, one that you've never touched. Sure, it's not like you would do anything to mess with it, but I'm guessing they don't want to get in the game of making exceptions for transcripts. And it shouldn't take more than a day. Best to make a friend in the registrar's office, in my opinion.
