Pretty much all of our patients with "normallish" function get done with a radial only. It's pretty rare over here for a radial not to work well in a patient that came from home.

The femoral art line prevents us from starting starting inappropriate vasopressor and/or inotropes 10-15% of the time. I see significant disparity at least once a month. Would never know it otherwise.
