hey guys aadsas academic update is open. i have few question regarding about this.
i interviewed at a school on their earliest interview date and I have few courses to update. BUT my school is REALLY SLOW and not great with paper work (slowed down my app process before). If my transcript is not sent by next week or following week, how would the dental school make decision??? Would they make decision based on the grade that I input on the portal?

Also I plan to take some pre-req during summer, do I need to put that too on academic update?

The email said we have until February 3rd to submit the update and transcripts need to be received by February 17th. That leaves plenty of time after this semester's end. And I would go ahead and include all updated planned coursework including the summer. Hope that helps.

Do we have to update this? Or is it for the candidates that are required to submit further coursework as requested by schools?

Everyone has to update it I believe. Once you get your fall grades, go ahead and update it.

Dang really. Hopefully I get accepted December first. I slacked in my anatomy course and I'm at a B in that and Med Micro lol Fml

So, my understanding is that if we put/update my "in-progress" courses that I am currently taking in the fall and not the grades (since I do not have them until Jan or Feb), the dental schools will not able to see what classes am I currently taking? or can they see them although the grades are not yet updated?

In the message it says we can only do one academic update. Is this just regarding grades or our planned courses too? Should I just wait to update my planned courses after finals or should I do that before Dec. 1st?

So if i havent declared that i wad taking a class in the fall when the aadsas was submitted, am i still obligated to submit academic update?
