Academic Update

I'm trying to find a clear answer on the benefit or lackthereof that an academic update can have on admissions. I'm currently waiting to hear back from the 3 Texas schools(no word back at all), but I got a 3.75 this past semester in all BCPM courses and put a research paper up for publication. I'm hoping there's still time for this to help me this cycle. I've notified the schools of these achievements and ordered an official transcript to be sent to TMDSAS. Does anyone have prior experience on this matter?

Some schools asked me to submit the update ASAP so they (not Texas) are obviously looking at it. Best to contact the schools to ask if it will help for review.

Yeah I went ahead and contacted all 3 via email. One said they'd update my profile. One said they were happy to see my success but they couldn't do anything until the official transcript arrived. The other didn't reply.

I am in the same boat! I sent my transcripts to AADSAS and TMDSAS, and then to Houston. I can already guess who emailed you back! 🙂 Update your file: Baylor, Happy for success: Houston. No reply: San Antonio. I guess we just have to wait until after the break!
