I'm almost done my undergrad career and unfortunately my cgpa is on the very low side (3.19). I have had a gpa of 3.3+(per semester) in my last 2 years but unfortuantely the damage has been done to the Cgpa. Was wondering if going to grad school (in science of course) getting a near excellent gpa and excellent MCAT score will be able to lessen the blow when I apply to med school as I know i'm not competitive as of right now.

An SMP could help but they still look at UG GPA. Your best choice is probably to get a good/great MCAT and apply DO. With a 28-30+ MCAT, you'd be competitive for DO at a 3.19 and it'd save time and money (money to the tune of $25-50k in tuition PLUS $150-400k x1-2 yrs in lost wages).
