Volunteer/Research/Shadow Experience:
1yr research (not published), shadowed 8 different specialties, and 1.5 years of 4hrs/week volunteering in peds

ACCEPTED PROGRAM(S):
all that I applied to (didn't apply to upenn or Harvard because of location problems).

That's not really all that helpful if you don't tell people which programs you applied to.

I'll put my info here although it's a bit outdated.

Accepted-usf, still waiting on tufts (looks like a rejection)

I was accepted into tufts. That's where I'm going!

Accepted as a post-bacc at Rutgers-Newark (only thing I applied to) for 2009-2010. Finished with a 3.91, got a 33 MCAT

Loads of research in a clinical setting - not going to divulge specifics

Accepted to UMDNJ SMP (only thing I applied to) for 2010-2011. Was one of 20 out of the 150 total students selected to take classes with the MS1's, starting next week :scared:

MCAT: n/a, never took it. SAT 1360 (math and verbal) 2160/2400

volunteering/ecs at time of acceptance:
- hospital ED ~50hr
- shadowing ~10hrs
- other community service (ie: habitat for humanity, various local service days through student orgs, honors society service "requirement"): ~400+ over the 4 yrs
- leadership positions: student government exec board, student services (financial stuff) liaison, started an international relations group on campus, honors student society subcommittee cochair, etc
- department awards/university awards: deans list all semesters, graduated with honors, political science award x2, SGA awards x3, 2 competitive internships (political)

very extensive work and volunteer experience in private and foreign gov't healthcare settings.
