Hi! I was just wondering if there is a thread that showed a list of schools and their % of acceptances after interviews? For example, medical school A has 500 interviews and accepts 300 of them. If there is a thread or something of the sort, could anyone point me to it? Thanks.

If you have the $$, you can get the USNews ranking thing. It will show you how many interviewed, and how many acceptances they gave out. You do the math.

in MSAR for schools that report it. Last category on left column "acceptance information" then chart at bottom of "matriculation data"
But that's just matriculation, right? Not total acceptances.

Rule of thumb, multiply class size by 1.5-2.5
That's a nice equation. I guess I can use that.

Is it worth it though or is the 1.5-2.5X rule valid?

Thank you all.

Thank you all.

If I recall, USNews reports acceptances and MSAR reports matriculants

US News is nice because they break it down by IS and OOS.

Sent from my QTAQZ3 using SDN mobile

Now MSAR reports both (and it's not "self-reported" like US Snooze).

Can you provide an example of a school that has their acceptance # available on MSAR? I've looked through a few schools on MSAR but didn't find that info

Sorry. They have the applicant median and matriculant median.
Unfortunately, we only have the school's own report of acceptance "data" in US Snooze...
