Hi everyone!

My name is Kristin. I just wanted to see if anyone else on the forum was going to be in the Chapman University DPT Class of 2017. I literally got the acceptance email a few hours ago and am really excited! I can't wait to start planning school and starting the program (minus the debt of course!). It'd be great to hear from fellow classmates 🙂

Yes I did. I think the official date I submitted was Sept 22 and they emailed me yesterday.

I actually just heard back from Serena. She said that they are finalizing the ED acceptances and will email us when it's all settled. I did call and her assistant said the deposit will be around 500$. Did you already accept?

Just got my acceptance yesterday! I didn't do ED so I guess they're starting their regular admissions now 🙂 The bad thing...is I don't think I'll hear back from other schools until mid-late december but the deposit is due in 2 weeks....what to do?!

Dang, I hope they tell me soon. I have another acceptance that I have have to make a decision about within two weeks. I'd prefer to save 500 bucks if possible haha.

I got an acceptance email but never got the follow up instructions email from Chapman. I also got a decline from Azusa. I guess shouldn't have admitted I'm an atheist during the interview. Haha!

Hello! I was accepted in November and was wondering if anyone heard anything about their new Irvine facilities? I know it's opening Fall 2014, but any news on how the labs are like? I live down the street from the location and can only see the outside...it looks like two giant office buildings :/

Did you get the email they sent out? I would think that everything will be a little 'trial and error' in the beginning since we'll be the first class using the facility...right? I'm a little sad that we couldn't stay in orange, but it seems nice that we'll be able to do everything in one spot.

Yes, I did get the email. I just hope the labs are pretty up to date with tv screens so we can all see what's going on. I wanted to stay on the main campus too but it should be pretty nice considering the sum of money donated. Its hard to compare schools without being able to tour the actual facilities. I'm on the fence with Chapman and Midwestern Glendale. Loved MWUs facilities!

If anyone else going to Chapman knows of any housing or is looking for a fellow student roommate I would love to get in touch with you. Congrats! I can't wait to meet everyone and start school 🙂 You should join the facebook page if you use it to talk to some other people in the class. Are you going to the lunch in may? I talked to another classmate and we're thinking of renting a house so we can have our own rooms but a good amount of space to live together. I think it'd be easier to talk face to face to see whose compatible. Theres still a lot of moving parts and we won't be moving till august probably, so we have plenty of time to discuss. But yay!
