Is it worth waiting another year to re apply and hoping to get into a more established school? I could possibly get into a school closer to home or in a more ideal location. However, with all these new schools popping up-- I'm afraid that in addition to competition for admission getting tougher each year, that more pharmacy positions will be taken in the next years ahead. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

It is always a risk going to a pre-candidate school. Accreditation is not complete until the school has graduated a class so chances are, you may be part of the class that gives a school its accreditation.

If you re-apply, I would probably keep taking courses in order to show that you are trying to improve yourself from the previous year and that you have not slacked off (advice given to me by a pharmacist) and if you are working, to try to continue working. But... I'm not an expert, just a student with opinions.
