Hi,
I was accepted to PCO and I am sending deposit ASAP. I graduated early in Jan'09 due to financial reasons. During the spring, I took A&P1 at a community college... I hate it!!!! It was an hour drive away from home and hated the location of the school. During the interview they did ask me what I was doing now? I was honest and I told them that I was not in school and was still working for an private doctor of optometry and learning as much as I can (this is very true). The interviewer told me that she thought it was nice for students to have a break before starting graduate school and did not reprimand me for not being in school. However, in the final interview I was approach with this question again and received a different response. I was told that it is recommended for entering students to in be school before they start. I did state that I was considering A&P2 at a different college but she said it was not required. Now, that I am accepted, my mentor says not to bother with taking A&P2 because I should try to enjoy the freedom that I have remaining.
Unfortunately, I can't afford community college at this moment due to family obligations. So, is anyone is a similar situation? Should I call the school and ask?
