Hello,
Quick question!
My research abstract was accepted by a research conference. I also presented the abstract during the poster session. Recently I realized that this abstract is also published on a journal that is affiliated with the conference.
However, it does have a foot note stating that it is just an abstract and not a full text article. It is included under the heading of supplement.

My question is: For AACOMAS application should this be under "Publication" or "Presentation"?

Thanks for any input! It would be great if @Goro can answer this too!!

Thanks!!

I would label it as a presentation. It doesn't really seem like a publication. There was no editor or review board that reviewed your work to determine if you data/anything was acceptable. If there was some type of feedback that said "hey this is good/bad or needs to be clarified" (Even the great researchers get this feedback), then I don't really believe this is a publication.

It would be good to write that your presentation was mentioned by X journal in the description though.

Great job on your work 🙂

Poster presentation.
