I got accepted to CCOM last Friday and I still have other interviews to KCOM, LECOM, and NOVA. Should I still go to them so I can "shop" schools? I can afford it but I'd rather not spend the money on plane tickets and hotels. I'm still waiting for MSUCOM, and I'm 100% okay with going to CCOM if MSUCOM rejects me. I was just wondering what others have to say or would do if they were me.

I'm a Michigan resident, so I'd pay cheap IS tuition for MSUCOM.

Thanks!

If you would be happy at CCOM then no, don't go to the other interviews.

Congrats on your acceptance!

It's always good to have a plan B. That said, if MSUCOM rejects you, are any of the others schools ranked higher than CCOM on your list? If you want to spend the money to find out, then by all means shop around. But if not, and you're set on either CCOM or MSUCOM, then you can definitely save the money and not worry about it.

Do you have to put a deposit down for CCOM within 2 weeks of acceptance?

If it were me, I'd check out KCOM. It is a fantastic school with awesome facilities and the tuition is MUCH cheaper. But I biased by location and CCOM is much closer to your home so that is pretty huge.

CCOM follows aacomas' traffic guidelines, so it's dec 14th. i would only go check out schools that you think you may like. i.e. you hear NOVA has a really beautiful campus and you can see yourself living in florida. even that slight possibility, id go check out the school to see if it will sway you. if i learned anything from my interviews, it's that it's the actual interview experience where i really learn about the school.

+1

I really liked DMU and was accepted and thought about canceling my LECOM interview, but I decided to go and I'm glad I did. I feel like seeing both schools in person helped me to decide what I really wanted out of a school and could make a better decision about which school was the best fit for me.

Only if you interviewed after November something, I believe.

I started interviewing thinking the first acceptance I get, I'm cancelling my other ones. I heard from ATSU-SOMA, and I decided that Western would be my last one, so I will not be going to LECOM or PNWU.

If any school is ranked above CCOM, I would visit that school to see if it fits you better than CCOM. As someone else already mentioned, until you actually visit and talk with the students/faculty, you really can't get a feel for why you'd want to attend the school (which is a question that sometimes comes up in interviews).

LOL there are so many of us debating between CCOM right now that it encourages me that it must really be a favorite this year. Let's just have everyone on the borderline here on SDN choose it and have a phenomenal 2017 class 😛
