Accepted w/ in progress prereqs

I'm planning/in the process of studying for MCATs this coming year. My undergrad GPA isnt great (3.34), but my Grad GPA is 3.9, and the science prereqs that are currently a work in progress, i have a 4.0. However this summer when i apply i will only have the following courses done:

CALC I (4cr.)
CHEM I & II (8cr.)
OCHEM I (3cr.)
BIO I & II (6cr.)
PHYS I (3cr.)

Fall 2007 (hopefully whiel i'm interviewing) i will take:
BIO I lab (1cr.)
OCHEM II (3cr.)
PHYS II (3cr.)
PHYS lab (2cr.)
~maybe GENETICS or something

Has anyone gotten interviews while finishing this many prereqs? I could take one other course this summer (5wk session) but i'd rather study for MCATs. Would this help me at all?

Any advice is appreciated!

If you can manage at least a 23 mcat you will get DO interviews. 😀

I think you may have an issue with some schools. I applied without having taken organic 1 or 2 and LECOM rejected me because of it and UNECOM has made me wait to send me a secondary until they receive my grade from organic 1. (I just got my grade yesterday and am sending my transcript to AACOMAS today to update it.) It will really depend on the school, so I would check with the individual schools to see what their requirements are. I did receive some acceptances and they are contingent upon completion of organic chemistry 1 and 2. Make sure you also have strong ECs. Good luck! 😀

Some schools have a minimum number of pre-reqs that you have to have before you apply. I can't remember where I read it or if maybe one of the recruiters told me. If I were you I would simply call the schools and ask. It is a simple thing and could save you wasted money in application fees.
