Kinda late in response but my friend just got accepted and had to pay $2,000 within a week or so of being accepted to secure her position with the school.

GPA: 3.89 at my current school, 3.23 cumulative
PCAT: 82nd percentile, 3.5 writing
Degrees: AAS in Human Services Technology, 2000; AS General Science, 2017

Is it true that you have to pay a deposit to secure your position?

Yes. Most schools do require a deposit, though they can differ in amounts. I think all of the schools in NC (UNC, Wingate, Campbell, High Point) all have a deposit fee of $2000. Some schools reduce their deposit for Early Decision applicants.

How long did it take to hear back after the interview? Mine is March 31st at the Hendersonville campus.
