Accepting and withdrawing

I recently received my first admission to boston university. I'm interviewing at Temple on Jan 8 and I'm still waiting to possibly get interviews at other schools. Is it ok to send a deposit with the intent to go to boston even though I may go to a different school (such as my state school: un. of colorado) if they take me? Will this cause any problems, such as being taken out of other schools applicant pool?

No.

This is done all the time. You will however lose your deposit, but its worth it if you can go to a cheaper school.
