Hi there,

I just submitted my AACOMAS application and noticed that I forgot to include a planned Biochemistry course in my list of courses, which is a prerequisite for a few of the schools I'm applying to. Will this be an issue, or will the schools just inform me that I'd have to take it before matriculation?

Thanks so much for the help!

You should email each school separately and provide them with this information just to be on the safe side - Admissions Advice Online

Email aacomas and they will unsubmit it and you can enter that information.

I actually did the same thing last cycle after forgetting to put down that I was planning on taking physics II. I still received secondaries from all but one school. I ended up calling the school that didn't send a secondary (it was specifically not sent because of the missing pre req) and explaining the situation and they ended up sending out a secondary and it was no big deal. At my interview at SOMA they asked about it and I just explained the situation. You can call AACOMAS and have it fixed as well, but I don't know if that will delay anything.

Eeek, didn't see everybody's responses until today... Think it's still worth having them unsubmit it or just reach out to individual schools to avoid delaying things?

OK, so for future reference I called AACOMAS and found out for sure that unsubmitting your application to edit coursework has no effect on its position in queue to be verified!
