I was wondering if someone knowledgable in this matter could explain how the accreditation visits work. Specifically what does "Approval with Reporting Requirements" exactly mean? One of the schools I have been accepted to was given this as their accredition results (As found on the ADA website). Thank you.

The school must meet the standards set forth by the accreditation body, and must prove these standards are in compliance at the site visit. Reporting requirements indicates that not all standards have been completely met. This is not unusual for an initial accreditation as some things take more time than others to prove. The school must now report to the accreditation body that the deficiencies have been corrected and how that has occured. This will no doubt happen.

What if the school in question isn't new, is it safe to say that these deficiencies will be corrected? Also, would you be justified in asking the school about their accreditation stutus, or is it something you don't talk about? Thanks for the reply
