Hey Guys,

I have a question, I don't know if any predents will know but maybe some dental students stopping by will know.

I have had a pretty hard semester (not an excuse but a reality) and will interviews (I have had four) I am not going to have a stellar GPA this semester. My cumulative and sgpa aren't that great 3.4 range, if I get a C (Quantitative Analysis) and a B and two A's for a overall semester GPA of around a 3.1-3.2 are schools going to rescind my offer of admission (assuming I get one in December) once they get my transcripts in January?

Thanks!

chances are that they won't as long as you don't fail. some schools may have a minimum GPA requirement. call schools to find out

So if I get an acceptance, put a deposit down, and send in my transcripts, and I happen to have a C in Quant, which would probably put my Science GPA below the 3.0 mark (maybe its around there now, CGPA is ~3.5), can they/will they rescind my acceptance? Assuming I don't fail any classes, have all pre-reqs done, graduate and don't commit any crimes:laugh:...

I guess I really ask because if I don't know if I send in fall 2009 transcripts followed by Spring 2010 or both at the same time. If the latter, it would most likely be too late to try and secure a seat at another school, if acceptance was removed.

If any one has been in a similar situation or knows exactly how these things work, that would be most helpful.

Thanks!

At Midwestern, they told us that if we were accepted to wait and send transcripts when they were complete (ie. the spring if you have a spring term), but I don't know about other schools.

I do think as long as you keep your grades at C or above DS is not going to rescind the acceptance. They do not like to see senioritis of course so grades should be at the level you normally have but if you get one C it is not going to kill your admission.
