So I took the 2nd achiever test today...these are the results

15 Bio
16 Chem
16 OC
18 PA ( I took 20 minutes longer than I should)

Everything is shaking me up...some of the questions on the sciences I haven't even seen before in Destroyer/Barron's/Kaplan. Anybody get a good DAT score with comparable achiever scores?

Yesterday I got 15 Bio, 19 Chem, 18 OChem, and 18 PA. Yesterday the PA took me 2 hours though, so I trimmed down the time.

The PAT is going to kill me. I rock at the paper folding, angle discrimination, and cube counting. I only missed 4 combined for those three. The aperture passing is so-so, but I keep getting rocked on the orthographic projections and the form development.

I am going to keep trying to trim my time down, but I feel like on the test that I'm going to skip to do the 3 I'm strongest in first, then use whatever time I have to do that last 3. Anybody else try this and had success?

Even though my science scores are low, I feel fairly confident that I'll perform well on them. Especially seeing how I was scoring around 24-25 on those for the kaplan's and barron's tests.

Anybody? I guess my main concern was with spending too much time on the PAT

hey! so i took my 1st achiever test yday too and was a lil bummed. i got a 17 in pat but was actually expecting even lower, cuz i saw how horrible the keyhole and tfe was (or for me at least) so i marked B for almost all of them and kept going. even the pattern folding took me a lot of time. oh and i took the exact hr only since i m trying to prepare for the real dat soon.

today i went over the 3 sections (tfe keyhole and patternfolding) and sure enough it took me 1.5 hrs just trying to make sense of the answers.

imo dont worry too much since it is harder than the real dat but what i would say like you said don t get caught up on the hard ones. mark and move in.

anyway, ur not alone 🙂 i felt the same way after my practice exam!
