I scored a 17 across the board in achiever's first test...is it just me or the test is very hard?? 😕😱
Comments? thoughts? specially those who scored in higher in actual DAT.

its been said more times than can be counted. Achiever is harder than the real thing because the question stye used is different.
I'd only use achiever for PAT if I were you

If you have time then do the full length tests. But if not I agree with Troyvdg 100%!

What do you mean by the question style?
And what do you suggest for practice material?
Sadly achiever doesnt explain the PAT questions, they are very tough indeed.

Achiever is certainly tough, a lot tougher than other practice material and tougher than the actual exam. Use it to work on your weak spots, and more importantly use it to simulate actual testing conditions. It will help with endurance. Don't be too depressed if you score low though. Other than RC Achiever, it helped me (and yes, I scored consistently low on it!)

I got absolutely OWNED by achiever. I never got above a 17aa/17ts/17pat... on most of the 5 test I took I was getting 15 & 16 in GC and Bio. The tests are hard and ask questions that are not super representative of the DAT. The value in achiever is that is prepares you for the actual act of taking the test... the interface of achiever is EXACTLY like the DAT. You need to do achiever so that when you go into the test you are prepared. I would not recommend it as a source for actually studying material, because most of the achiever questions are not overly representative of the stuff you see on the DAT. But you need to do it so that you know what its like to be on the clock. Dont read into your scores and dont freak out. Review the stuff you get wrong and move on.

21 GC
21 OC
20 QR
20 RC
20 PAT

i have had higher scores in kaplan test and top score, and am getting 17s on achiever, so i guess will use it for practice, thanks for your input. i appreciate it.

Hey deeentist79, I had been having the same problem as being not able to see their PAT solution, and later found out I would need to install Solidworks eDrawings. Here's the link you could download and install the viewer:

Achiever has the best 3D explanation out there cause it allows you to interact, play and rotate the models at your own control.

Write in to them if you could not get it to work.

First off with all sections especially QR, Reading, PAT I can barely if that finish the section.
All sections make me want to rip my brain out, this is my second time and I need to kick ass. PLEASE HELP!

I have done destroyer 100 times I dont look sometimes because I had it memorized from round 1. QR and Bio are toughest for me.

(i guessed on most, tons of trig i had no clue)

my scores went down. what do you guys think!!! I am freaking out
