What's the deal with these certifications and psych residency? Which are required? Do you have to take them before you start residency or do programs arrange workshops to get you certed on site?
I think most residencies will offer these courses on-site just prior to your start date in July (whichever ones are required of you). You'll likely receive the information in your orientation/information packet you receive after you match. PALS, in most cases I've seen, are required only of child fellows, though there are residencies that require that their incoming residents take this as well.
