Hi everyone! Essentially, I've been accepted into both ACOM and Nova and am very conflicted about where to potentially go.
Nova pros:
-In a large city = easier to find an airport to fly home
-Possibly more interesting clinical experiences due to the large population in ft. Lauderdale
-Feels less isolating because its in a large city
Nova cons:
-School is on the pricier side of DO schools + cost of living in florida is expensive
-Have heard some questionable things from students about the curriculum
-Board pass rates + match rates are slightly lower than ACOM
ACOM pros:
-Really liked the faculty presentation during the info session
-100% match rate
-Low cost of living
ACOM cons:
-Dothan feels a little small for me
-Harder to travel back home
I have yet to visit both campuses which I feel like will help in my decision but I am truly conflicted about this choice and any input would be appreciated!
