I have interview to both these schools coming up, but due to cost I only can afford to attend one. They seem similar, anyone has further insight into making a decision?
ACOM vs CUSOM

I've visited ACOM twice and have an interview there in two weeks. It's a great school and has a lot to offer. However, I interviewed at CUSOM and was accepted there, and I was blown away by what the school had to offer. It seemed to have a better curriculum and was more well rounded. It's SIM program far exceeded ACOM (unless they've upgraded the past year or two) and seemed to have better rotations and all. The staff was also just excellent. Between the two, even if I get accepted to ACOM and I have family in Dothan, I'm going with CUSOM.

CUSOM over ACOM. CUSOM is progressing fast and is an excellent program. I'm sure ACOM is good too, but they're not progressing as fast as CUSOM.
Ex. CUSOM already has a lab up and running and a few pubs out; ACOM is still in the process of finishing assembly of their lab. Both schools opened in the same year.

I have been accepted to both of these schools, and while I liked ACOM a lot, CUSOM impressed me far more. The facilities, faculty, board scores, clinical rotations, and curriculum just seemed solid to me.

If you can only go to one go to CUSOM. It has a lot of advantages but SIM isn’t one of them. You’ll soon realize SIM labs are cool but just eye candy to premed

CUSOM, that being said you really need to find a way to attend both. It is risky to turn down interviews without an acceptance, I know it's for financial reasons and if you literally don't have any money then you don't have any money and can't go but just make sure you are doing everything you can to maximize your opportunities.

It's totally risky business not going to an interview without an acceptance. Think of how much you have invested financially and emotionally to get this far. Don't cut yourself short of opportunities now. You're almost there.
