Both of this schools are great and that’s why I’m torn btn the two, since I liked aspects of both:
Btw I don’t mind the mandatory lectures (I know I’m in the minority here), but I actually like having to leave my home and going to campus, so I can just focus on school work.
**not as important for me
ACOM:
Pros:
- Talked to current students who noted the quality of clinical rotations.
- Closer to home in FL**
Cons:
- lower board scores
CUSOM:
Pros:
- Higher board scores for the 2 graduating classes
- Great facilities that felt more stablished or advancing at a faster pace (subjective opinion)
- 100% match rate for the 2 classes
- Have a residency program
Cons:
- I haven’t heard much about the quality of clinical rotations ( I believe taht clinical rotations sites are also rural, which leads me to ASSUME they are probably small and not as established)
There are still a few questions that I’ve about them since I was extremely nervous in interview day and forgot to ask, I would appreciate if any current student could help answer this questions:
- time given to study for Boards
- attrition rate
Any other info about this schools is appreciated.
Thanks in advance 🙂
