Edit: Well, to elaborate- the topics and depth it will cover will be about the same. But the exam will test your basic science knowledge and critical thinking skills. Also, the exam is mostly passage-based. The passages will range from something that looks like it comes from a journal article, textbook, or results from a student experiment. This tends to be more challenging to students. But doing well in your basic science classes will make it much, much easier when you prepare for the MCAT. So keep up the good work.
