Hi guys. I'm wondering how similar the ACS general chemistry exam is to the olympiad exams?
I'm helping a student who needs to get a certain grade on this year's ACS gen chem exam in order to pass his chemistry class. If he does not get this grade, he cannot graduate. I have the study guide, but it is my understanding the ACS study guide questions are a bit easier than the actual exam. Since it is imperative he does well, I would like to have a practice exam to see if he is able to get the score he needs. However, it seems no actual past ACS exams can be found anywhere online (unless anyone knows where I can find one)?
I have found past olympiad exams and I heard that since they are also made by ACS that the questions are similar. Has anyone ever taken both to be able to state if they are actually comparable? I just want to be able to properly gauge if he is prepared or not.
Thank you!
