Activities/Experience Description -- Best way to write?

For the Activities/Experience section of the AMCAS which is best?

1) Describe your role in the activity and what the activity was
2) Describe a particular situation and describe how the skills gained will make you a better physician (in this option, information about your role in the activity is limited to only the "particular situation."
3) Some sort of combination?

Comb through this thread. Full of information. From what I've read over and over again on that thread, you need to examine each activity/experience on its own and determine the best way to describe. That might be a few bullet points or prose or a combination. I read page after page after page and got most of my questions answered.
