ADA 2009 Sample Test

For those who purchased the 2009 sample test from ADA and have taken the real DAT, how did your scores compare/how would you compare the levels of difficulty?

I read in a few threads that there were a lot of errors in the sample test, which noticed as well. I found a few math questions to be more complicated than anything from my Kaplan and CDM study material - specifically the question about the elliptical mirror. Also, I've never learned about specific proteins like Dynein (answer to 13) or Clathrin and Spectrin (question 16)... do we need to get that detailed?!

my DAT date is only 2 days away, so any input would be greatly appreciated🙂

I'm a day away from taking it myself as well. At this point,...don't worry about it. Bio is going to be random. We knew that since day one. Just work on your confidence. Even though we're supposed to take the day off, I'm going to take that ADA practice test today as an extra confidence booster (from what I hear). I took all 3 topscore this week and those were great for confidence as well. I may do some CDP this afternoon as well because I've only done topscore PAT for the past few days which is too easy.

Confidence is everything. It's gonna be sweet walking out of that testing center with my breakdown in hand!!!!

Ahh I guess you're right...just got to think positive! But it's tough when the ADA sample has some material on it that I've never heard of😕
