The volume of a mole of gas is

a. 22.4 L
d. directrly proportional to pressure and Kelvin temp.
C. directly proportional to prepssure, inversely proportional to Kelvin temp.
D. inverseley proportional to pressure, direction properotional to Kelvin temp
E. inversely proportional to pressure and to Kelvin temp

Ignore spelling erros...cause I type too fast =P.

But on the real though, why can't the answer be A as well (answer is D which I understand)?

Edit: Is it because it doesn't say an ideal gas at STP =o?

yea

The volume of a mole of gas is 22.4 AT STP

since the Q doesn't say at STP its not 22.4, tricky huh

um, is it not C? PV=nRT......you increase n, P increases, T decreases.

no C cannot be right... it is asking the relationship for volume. And C states directly proportional to pressure, which is incorrect. And yep to Kobebucsfan: 22.4L only at STP
