As someone who has taken the ADAT this last year, all I can say is that it’s a tough exam that’s a double edge knife.
If you do well with a solid GPA/EC, it brings up your app, and if you do poorly with the same stats, it brings your application down.
If I were you I’d really consider what schools you are really trying to get into. Of the 55 endo programs only 10-11 requires the ADAT at the time of writing this post, could change in the future.
If you are hard set on applying to any of those 10-11 schools, I’d tell you buckle down and try to score at least in 570+.
If you designated a school to receive your score when applying for the ADAT, your score automatically gets uploaded to your application. So if that’s the case I’d retake the exam and notify schools of your retake and try to apply this cycle.
Otherwise if you have a lot on your plate at school, I’d recommend to apply to schools that do not require the ADAT. If your goal is to become a Endo, whether you take the ADAT or not, you can still get there.
