Another question. Please this is serious, i really want to know. No jokes.

I have a creative talent and I want to give some of my creation to my interviewers (if we talk about my talents/hobbies). If I bring these gifts for them. Do you think it'll help or will it look suspicious?

I probably wouldn't bring whatever it is. That is a little excessive. I did have an interviewer ask me for pictures my interest (my dog), though. She is a very rare breed and I am very active in the community. She was curious and I obliged.

For me, traditional interviewers were all male. MMIs had 1/3 to 1/2 females

In my effort to avoid this thread and just post a :troll:, I am now getting alerts for this thread anyway, so I guess I'll just dive in.
OP, should it come to pass that you are assigned an interviewer that you would decide to flirt with, I will caution you that flirting or any sort of promiscuous behavior at an interview of any sort, either for a student position or for a job in the real world, is unethical, wildly unprofessional, inappropriate, and in the realm of medical school admissions, I would not be surprised if your interviewer outright terminated the interview session on the spot.

I see. Thanks.

Cool! Glad to know they are mostly males.
Thanks for your answer.

Streampaw? Is that you?
Is that a person that used to be here? I'd like to meet them, sounds like we would get along really well. I am not them however. As I am one with God, the undivided one, I am undivided, original and wholesome. Dear Streampaw, if you are reading this, please PM me. Let's be friends.

Ok...I guess it will be a bad idea.
If i show a little bit of a sexy smile, it wouldn't hurt. How can they dismiss the interview when they can't prove that I was flirting? It may just be in a their mind.

Lol. It's a bad idea.

Another question: Is it usually one Adcom conducting the interview or more than one person in the room? What's your experience with this?

If an interviewer believes you are behaving inappropriately, (which doesn't happen very often as it is a serious offense and most applicants know better not to behave so inappropriately as what you have suggested) they are within their rights to either dismiss your interview OR they could finish the interview as normally, but be damn sure if you behaved inappropriately its going to end up in your interview report...and your application will likely receive no further consideration by the committee.

It varies from school to school. Some have panel interviews of multiple committee members with a student, some have 1-on-1 interviews, some schools have you meet individually with different people, some schools do the MMI, some schools have multiple students in a group for an activity/problem-solving with 2 or 3 committee members present. It varies.

Okay, that's enough 'benefit of the doubt' from baconshrimps. Adios.

I see..I have gained good insight from your reply. Thank you

sometimes the people conducting your interviews are not even on the adcom. They may just be writing an eval.
Even if your interviewers happen to be male, that doesn't mean the adcom will necessarily be all men.

Thank you all for your reply. I have no more questions.

Most of mine were with 1-2 interviewers, with either faculty or staff from the school. There are schools that have a committee interview you; some have group interviews.
