Do not gamble. Go ahead and hold as many seats as your wallet allows until the very last minute, if you're waiting on a certain school. But, never be school-less in hopes of waiting for a particular school.

if thats the reasoning for delaying dental school, then your friends has bigger problems.

Other than that, he could probably get into more schools if he applies to more ( no guarantee obviously). And a little tip, dont reapply to the school that he will reject this cycle.

He has guts, but I would also gamble if I were in the same situation. Being in a place you enjoy>being miserable.

Although, it was silly of him/her to only apply to 3 schools and one of those schools being one that he/she doesn't even want to go to 😕

Everyone thinks what Rainee thinks. You/Your friend is a ***** for applying to 3 schools, and not wanting to matriculate into one of the schools after acceptance because it wasn't the right school. 😕

I don't think weather should play to big of a factor, unless maybe you have been accepted into various schools...

IMO I would GO! man I wish I have that dilemma this cycle lol

I hope being warm and not in dental school is worth it. The way I see it, the sooner I start practicing the sooner I can move somewhere that I want to live. Not to mention why bother applying to a school that you won't go to? And I highly doubt all 15 of those other schools are in places where the cold is nice.
