adding evaluators, LORs, etc

hey everyone.
i have 3 set evaluators.
and i'm confirming with 2 others next week. but i want to send off the AADSAS ASAP...so do i add the other 2 evaluators ANYWAYS, or just leave them out.

i have a dentist i shadow, a TA, my research supervisor.
the other 2 are other science profs (since columbia needs 3 from science profs!)

AADSAS only allows you to send 3 LORs to them, I believe. So, pick the 3 you want to send to each of your prospective schools. Then, mail in the other ones directly to the schools. I think this is the best way. Any other suggestions?

I actually sent them 5 letters at different times. I sent my first 4 right before I finished filling out AADSAS, and the other I sent in about a month late. (this was all in June and July).

AADSAS may persuade you to send only 3 (so they don't have to do as much work) but they will keep any number in their file (within reason). They will send those letters along with the shipment that corresponds.

For example, my AADSAS with 4 letters was recieved on May 25, and sent as part of the 3rd shipment on June 22. My other letter I sent in like on June 10th, and was sent along with the 6th shipment by itself on July 8th or something. Both AADSAS and your respective shools will receive everything, so send anything as soon as possible, even if it is separate.

so should i be adding all my evaluators in my AADSAS b4 sending it? or can i just send LOR's without the evaluators being on my list?

AADSAS will send your application to your schools when you click send. If you only have, say, 3 out of 5 letters sent in, they will send the 3 letters with the app, and send the 2 letters that they get later with another shipment. I entered the information for all 5 letters in the Application, so that everyone knew that I was expecting another letter. I think that is safer. But if you don't I am sure it will find its way into the adcom's hands. Unless of course they screw up, there are whole threads on that.
