If a grade in a pre-req class has brought my BPCM GPA down, can I boost it by taking other 100 level Bio/Chem/Math classes to bring it up? Will that be questioned?

There are be many 100-level classes like stats, econ, psych, sociology, etc that you can take as part of your gen ed/degree requirement or simply relevant to the field of medicine. Usually, there should not be more than one or two 100lvl courses of basic gen bio (molecular+integrative) and two sems of pchem. Math usually goes straight to 200lvl if you jump right into calculus. I would find it hard to explain if you take any 100lvl courses in these areas after already taking prereq from these subjects.

You could take some astronomy courses. I really enjoyed taking those and didn't realize they would be part of my science GPA until AMCAS told me so!
