additional schools and secondary questions

I know this is awful, but I just mailed my AMCAS off yesterday

Am I in trouble? I have low stats: 3.3 gpa, 3.0 sci gpa, 10 v, 8 p, 10 b. Any suggestions as to additional schools I should apply? Anyhow, if any of you can help me with secondary app. questions to these following schools, I would really really appreciate it.

Rochester: no essays
Temple: What is the nature of your special interests in TUSM?
Pitt: Describe a personal experience which resulted in a substantial moral or ethical dilemma. please do not address cheating in an academic setting (250 words)
and: optional, a question about why you would contribute to diversity.
Einstein: no essays, but you do have to list your community service activities and what you've done if you've had a leave of absence from education.

Have you thought about osteopathic schools, too? And, what state are you in?

Sorry to break it to you, but unless you've got something else going for you (such as being an underepresented minority or a friend in admissions), your chances at all those schools are pretty slim. In addition, you've choosen some fairly prestigious private schools which hardly lack for an abundance of highly competitive applicants (ie 3.8 and above with MCATs in the 30s). Of course, then again, you never know there's no exact science to this process. Nevertheless, I wish you good luck.

Hi,

I am slso interested in Finch, Pittsburg and B.U. Boston. They are good schools and they like diversity among their incoming students.

Please let me know what else you find out, i am very curious and in the same boat as you.......Good luck!

Hi Tinker,

I have decided not to apply to BU, b/c I'm not a MA resident like you :\ Also, their overall acceptance rate is mere 2%, which is among the toughest in the nation. I still haven't gotten a TN from AAMC yet, so no secondaries still. Well, good luck to you, Tinker. It's good to know that I'm not alone in my shabby boat
