Address mistake on Application!! HELP!

Unfortunately, I realized today that my address on my aadsas application is wrong, but my application hasn't been sent out, even though I submitted it on aug 20th. I called aadsas and they told me that they can't make the correction on the original application, but can only send out a revision. I never got a definite answer about what i should do in this horrible situation. For anybody who applied before me, do many of the Dental school's contact you, or send you information by mail? Also, would it help contacting each individual school and informing them of the error? I've tried to call several dental schools with other questions, and it seems like no one ever picks up the phone (don't these places have secretaries?). Anyways, could anybody inform me whether this predicament could affect my success in this application cycle? Thanks 😕 😕

When I applied for the DATs I gave the ADA a wrong social security #. I was delayed from taking the DATs by about 2 weeks while they corrected it.

I think you'll be okay as long as the revision gets through.

Hey stop being so nervous, they wont make correction on the original they would send the revision, but keep calling them and keep track of what they doing, if you let it go and think they do it very soon you are wrong, make sure talk to couple of them and show how concern you are and ask for their names and when can you call back to see what happened ok????????/
(This happened to me and took them a month to correct it so I am telling u based on my experience)

I would wait until it's sent out and the schools have recieved it (call to find out when they do) and then inform them of the address change

Yeah, I would call AADSAS and make sure they send out the correction asap but I would make certain by waiting to see that the AADSAS (original) is mailed out and when it is, I'd call each school and inform them of the correction. Hm... I don't know why you couldn't reach your schools via phone. I called the schools I've applied to a number of times and they all picked up (except Stony, which seems to have a policy where they only return phone calls if you leave a message). Anywayz, don't stress too much about it~
