so any one care to explain why the information form the 44th edition of the ADEA which is posted on predents.com contrasts with the pdf file of accepted statistics that has been floating around sdn??

Not sure what PDF you are refferring to but maybe its more current then the 44th ed of ADEA's guide. The 44th, as you know, is stats from the entering class of 2005. Maybe schools put together stats form the entering class of 2006 since most schools are pretty much filled.

the pdf is 2004-2005 cycle, but predent.com is 2005-2006 cycle. that is why both of them are different.
