I was under the impression that committees aren't solely MDs. Can someone please tell me who does make up committees?

They're made up of MDs, PhDs, DOs, and even med students. This is because faculty members and medical students also have a large say in who goes to their school.

i know second, third and fourth years are on our admissions committee(in addition to the school's other faculty) because they just sent out applications to us med students for anyone interested in being on it. dunno how many students from each class get chosen to sit on the admissions committee.

so if u think about it...becareful what u say on sdn because if somehow these med students still check sdn and somehow are able to associate a screenname with a name during interview day it may bias them.

for all you know i could be on the adcom for this coming app cycle...muahhahahaha...
