Sending in Applications to 9 schools this fall, wondering (ballpark) when I can expect to hear back. The schools are: UVM, UNE, URI, MGH, BU, Northeastern, Simmons, Franklin Pierce, MCPHS

Deadlines for the apps fall anywhere between October 1st and March 1st, so obviously there will be a lot of discrepancy. I'm applying to each school ~6 weeks before its deadline. I guess I just want to know if I should expect to wait until Winter 2018 to begin hearing back, or if some schools with earlier deadlines might get back to me before then.

It totally depends on the program and when they start looking at applications or if they have rolling admissions. Sometimes the school's website outlines the timeline if you're curious. I know URI starts reviewing applicants several weeks after the deadline and BU doesn't review them until after their December deadline. The schools I'm applying to with early deadlines seem to send offers/interview requests in Nov/Dec.

I went to an info session at Simmons. They send all their acceptance letters before their winter break around December 15th or so. I also just got an interview at UNE. They do rolling admissions so as soon as they process your application they will start reviewing it. I received my offer to interview within several weeks of applying. I also applied to UVM and when they received my application they said they will let people know in February. I cannot speak to any of the other schools however.
