Hi all!
I'm a diy post-bacc that is currently enrolled in re-taking a science class while I've been applying to med schools this cycle. I've already been admitted but now I really want to withdraw from this class so that I focus the next few months before med school starts to working a job (to save up money), get married, and travel to visit some family.
BUT unfortunately, my school's withdrawal deadline has passed, meaning if I drop now, then I'll have one WF (Withdrew- Fail) on my transcript, even though I'm currently passing the class with an A 🙁
This WF will not affect my GPA from my Bachelors degree but it will affect my post-bacc GPA. Any advice? I've heard that your undergrad school's transcript won't be looked at after you've matriculated into med school.. is this true? Any way that this WF might affect me in my medical training (eg. residency applications or after)?
Any info would be great in helping me make my decision!
Thanks!
