Hi everyone!

I've been studying hard for the DAT and now find myself ready but haven't scheduled a DAT date yet. Once my application is approved and I'm ready to schedule, is it difficult for me to schedule a test date a week from when I'm scheduling? Or is it completely booked? When you sccheduled, how many days was the earliest you could schedule a test date from the day you were scheduling?

Thanks!

Might be difficult to get a date a week from the day your approved. (unless you don't have preference for date and time + any days good for you - then maybe).

Scheduled mine at the beginning of Janurary for mid-april and last I checked, there was still seats available for that day. So I think 2 months in advance sounds reasonable. Better to do it now and get a spot, before it gets really crazy later on - especially when everyone has the same mentallity and want to submit in June. DO IT NOW! lols 😀

That's great that you feel ready! I def didn't when I took mine haha

I actually didn't sign up for my test until a few months after I got my dentpin, but when I went to prometric.com to schedule, it was pretty wide open for me. However I do believe that every test center is different since they vary in size.
The size of your test center will def have a big impact in whether days will be booked or not.

But as asdfray recommends only in your favor to sign up early!
Good luck!
