Hey guys-

I take my exam next week and here's my dilemna. Should I spend the last week re-reading FA cover-to-cover, or finish up QBank? (I'm only 55% done/avg 62%) and spend 2-3 days on FA?

My instincts tell me to review FA since i can only recall ~75% of the material. Knowing this cold is better than doing more Qbank right?

IMHO, i'd go with FA, cause I think qbank is crap, and is only good for endurance, and stress management while looking at a clock timing down. But I haven't taken the real thing so what do I know.

I'm also taking the test in a week, so I'm in the same boat. A lot of people I have spoken to have advised me to do Qbank every day. It prepares you for the thinking pattern required, plus apparently there are a lot of repeat concepts, and it does point out where you are weak. They have regretted not doing Qbank more.

I suggest at least two or three 50 random blocks a day. The rest of the day do FA. That's what I'm going to do. I'm stopping Qbank two days before.

1 day goljan HY notes 36 page
2 days USMLE Secrets (or do more FA or goljan)- atleast look at all the drugs in this book that dont show up in First Aid.
listen to as much goljan audio u can (while u eat)

try to see everything once! Do anatmy and micro last so its in your short term memory.

repeat for 1 week.

Just try to relax and don't let yourself get sick before the test.

personally if it was my last week i would read through brs path to be re aquainted adn reminded of all the major stuff. Then spend the rest of the time memorizing over and over the drugs and the micro bio until you have the section in FA absolutely memorized. I would also spend a crapload of time doing beh science questions because from what i heard they are tricky and often a decent amt show up
