Hey guys,
I took my mcat last year and am retaking it again in July.

I dont have my transcript verification done (do we need to send in study abroad transcripts (UK)?), or my letters yet..

should i be working on these while i am studying for mcat
or do i submit everything after i have my mcat score?

also, do i have have to have the letters ready by the time i submit the AMCAS or is it only for secondaries?

Thanks!

I would submit the primary application without the MCAT score but indicate that you will be taking the MCAT in July. That way AMCAS can verify your application so you will be complete as soon as you get you score back (instead of waiting 6 weeks for verification after you get your score). Schools that don't screen should send you a secondary. Schools that screen will likely wait for the MCAT score before they send you a secondary.
Also, you can add schools after you submit your AMCAS (but you can't take any off). If you will be applying based on your MCAT score, then you may want to only add one school at first (so you can get verified right away) and then add others after you get your score back. Also, I think AMCAS sends your app once it's verified (even without the new score) so schools that don't screen will automatically send your a secondary (even without the new score), while schools that do screen will put your app on hold until they received your new score.
I had to send my study abroad transcript so you probably will have to as well (but read AMCAS help section to be sure). I requested it from my study abroad program (not my study abroad school).
You need the letters for the secondaries (not the AMCAS verification or anything). But often times, not have letters will hold up your application from being complete, so if you know where you want to apply, just go ahead and send in the letters right away.
