What's up, guys? I just want to ask a question. People I know who have taken the DAT gave me an advice that I shouldn't review the day before my DAT. Can some of you guys share me some opinions about it? I know I have to rest my brain for the big test. But in the back of my head, I feel like I am losing a valuable day to touch up some stuff.

I have been reviewing for the past 2 months. My study hours depended on my schedule. But on average, I studied 3-5 hours a day, the first month and a half, and 6+ hours for the past 2 weeks. I used Kaplan (book + practice tests), textbooks, topscore, acheiver, Crack DAT and even Barron's. Here are my scores:

Achiever avg- 17-18 / 18 / 18-21

Topscore avg- 18-21 / 21 / 23-25

The annoying thing is after reviewing the mistakes, half of them were stupid mistakes!!!!

I still feel like I haven't studied enough though (don't think I will ever). My DAT test is scheduled on Monday at 8 am. So we'll see how it goes!!!!

You'll be fine. You are pretty much on the exact schedule I was on and same materials and everything. Just do a light review tomorrow, watch a movie, eat right and get some sleep.

I dont think there's anything wrong with studying some the day before, as long as its 100% review. Just dont get into a panic trying to cover everything the day before. Mine is coming up on the 22nd with a lot of reviewing still to do :scared: might have to cough up the $25 and move it out a week or two...

looks like you're prepared for the actual exam! i think you'll do well on the actual PAT (i had same scores on achiever/topscore as u), and at least 20's across on the TS and AA. i might have wanted to add destroyer if i were you because it seems to help most people a lot, but at this point it's too late for that. good luck, and minimize your studying to slim to none the day before your test. remember to relax and get some rest! good luck 🙂 👍

The day before, you can do a light review, go over some notecards, look at some notes. But most of all try to relax, go out and do something and get your mind off of it. Lay down for bed early bc it will take you a while to get to sleep...trust me. Btw, the prometric center let me use ear plugs at the testing center...those plus the noise cancelling earphones....I couldn't hear a thing!

Yes I brought the ear plugs. And you won't be able to see a leg shaker because you are in a cubical. 🙂
